American songwriter and rapper Tyler, The Creator released his eighth studio album “Chromakopia” on Oct. 28. It consists of 14 songs, and its runtime is 53 minutes. The album features Daniel Caesar, Bonita Smith, Willow Smith, Paul Ngozi, Teezo Touchdown, Childish Gambino, GloRilla, Lil Wayne, Sexyy Red, Schoolboy Q, Santigold and Doechii.
In my opinion, the best song on the album by far is “Rah Tah Tah” because it exemplifies Tyler’s unique style. The song features an eerie beat and thoughtful lyrics. “I could never ride no Hellcat, sh*t don’t cost enough,” Tyler, The Creator says, referring to his elegant taste in cars. Another one of my favorites is: “Thought I was dead.” The song is energetic and fast paced with a catchy beat.
Tyler is also having a tour to accompany his album rollout, starting in February and lasting until June. It stops in Atlanta on March 21, 2025 in State Farm Arena. Overall, the album was a hit. I can say that I enjoyed all 53 minutes I spent listening to it. This album was the culmination of the journey of albums Tyler has taken with his fans since the 2000s.
