Despite her short stature, Sara filled all five feet and two inches of her corporeal form with pure passion. Her insights on politics and diplomacy helped all the staff members, while her own writing talents lended themselves to equally important articles such as “Five Red Flags to Avoid in a High School Relationship” and “Starbucks vs Dunkin’.”
Often instead of writing her articles, Sara served as The Forum’s resident college counselor. Between explaining the inequities in the college admissions system, helping others with their essays and repeatedly refreshing acceptance portals that she knew would not release decisions for several weeks, Sara sure found ways to keep busy.
She even started her own “podcast” to discuss SDLI drama, college admissions, politics and situationships. Her unsolicited opinions truly enriched the lives of all The Forum staff by teaching us how NOT to fall for blatant ragebait. Sara was so considerate and generous that she made sure to talk loudly enough that even people on the opposite side of The Forum newsroom could clearly hear all her conversations
Sara brought life, love and laughter to The Forum and she will be sorely missed next year.
