This winter, to celebrate the holidays, The Forum decided to host a holiday pie baking contest for Paideia students and staff. Pies were judged by an expert panel on filling flavor, filling consistency, crust texture, and presentation. After a long and strenuous review, Lexi Resnick’s key lime pie emerged victorious. Adapted from the Brown-Eyed Baker food blog, Lexi’s recipe produced a creamy smooth filling and flaky crust.
Plus, we also awarded an honorable mention to Emma Edge’s apple pie for Best Presentation.
