The hole Noura Finley has left in our hearts is profound. She was not just an inspirational and joyous social media manager, she was the best singer The Forum has ever seen. There is truly Noura placing the gap she leaves behind in The Forum community (get it?).
While Noura spent only two years with us, her legacy will span generations. Often heard singing as one of the lead singers in The Forum’s a capella group, Noura’s angelic voice somehow blessed the ears of everyone in the Mother Goose basement. We like to brag that Noura discovered her passion for singing within the white-board walls of our Forum home. Her talents did not stop with her voice–Noura was also an incredibly creative and talented social media manager.
Noura made history on May 10, when she directed a one-take-wonder promotional TikTok. Seasoned Forum member Andrew Pickel said “She was the only director and it only took one take. We had never seen anything like it. Her talent was undeniable.”
Noura could often be found either quietly working away, giving back scratches to appreciative staff members, or not in the Forum room at all. While we joke about her lack of attendance, she was truly an always present source of joy and a crucial part of our community. In our hearts, there will be Noura end to her Forum story.
