Boqueria, a new tapas restaurant in Midtown, is an excellent choice for a special occasion or nice dinner out. The decor is modern an incredibly aesthetic, the atmosphere is warm and elegant, and the surrounding area is vibrant and upscale. The service is impeccable; it only took six minutes for our first few tapas to arrive.
Served piping hot, the pan con tomate was delectable. The dátiles con beicon were the perfect combination of sweet and savory, and the truffle goat cheese had a rich flavor that complimented the other dishes.
But the highlight of the meal was the patatas bravas. The crunchy potatoes were coated in a delicious tomato sauce and were hot and fresh, making for a delectable bite. We also ordered the bikini, a sandwich with Serrano ham and Burrata, which had an incredible buttery taste, and ham that melted in our mouths.
We also ordered the ibérico mac n’ cheese, which was cheesy, creamy, and cooked well. We ended the meal with the churros with Nutella, which were served hot and crispy and absolutely delicious covered in cinnamon sugar. Overall, the food was delicious and the service was great. We would give this restaurant a 9/10, and highly recommend it to anyone who likes Spanish food or wants to try it for the first time.
