Bomb Biscuit is a restaurant that has been receiving lots of national attention lately. The New York Times included it in their list of America’s Best Restaurants 2023. Since Bomb Biscuit is located in Inman Park, roughly 10 minutes from Paideia, The Forum decided we needed to take a trip to see just how good it is.
The service was great: the staff was extremely friendly, food came out very quickly, and it was not busy around brunch time on a Thursday.
The Hot Honey Chicken Biscuit is the most popular item on the menu. This is understandable, as it had the perfect balance of sweet and spicy, although it fell apart quite easily and was difficult to eat. However, we agreed it was one of the best chicken biscuits we have ever had.
We also tried the Glori-Fried Chicken Biscuit. We chose to add eggs to this biscuit, which made it even better. Another item that was simply amazing was the chicken and waffles. The waffles were soft, and the chicken was crispy. The hash brown patty was also delicious, with a perfect amount of saltiness and an amazing texture. Another very popular item is the grits, which were unusual as they were chunky, but tasty nevertheless. The bacon was very crispy and greasy and paired perfectly with the grits and the eggs.
In short, yes, Bomb Biscuit is the bomb.
