The Paideia girls basketball team has experienced significant change this season after losing two members of its starting lineup. With two wins and six losses, the team has remained resilient in light of the regional shift. Co-captain Elle Rose ’25 has expressed her feelings about the transition from last season, saying “I think that losing Carolina Hardin ‘24 and Kate Banks ‘24 was a significant loss in leadership on and off the court, but this year we have a lot of new talent. People have been stepping up and taking on new responsibilities that have really helped the team grow and gain confidence.” When asked about the region expansion, Rose stated, “The region expansion has made us play teams we have never played before, with skills all across the board, but this has made us focus a lot more.”
As they enter their regional season, Paideia girls basketball aims to use their new talent and skills to pull the team through the season.
