Approaching the end of the regular season in the NFL, fans are focused on one event+: the playoffs. Which teams are in, and which teams are out?
Let’s start with the American Football Conference (AFC). In the AFC East, the Buffalo Bills are currently dominating the division, sitting at an 8-2 record. The Bills are an outlier though, as for the rest of the east, things aren’t going too hot. The Miami Dolphins, the New York Jets, and the New England Patriots are all at over six losses.
In the AFC West, the Chiefs are the only undefeated team. The Denver Broncos and the Los Angeles Chargers are currently in a tough battle to make the playoffs. The AFC North is home to two of the most dominant teams in the NFL, with the Steelers and the Ravens paving their way into the playoffs, though for the Bengals luck has run out after multiple heartbreaking losses. In the AFC South, the newly improved Texans are battling with the Colts for a chance to make the playoffs.
Now moving into the National Football Conference there is an abundance of Super Bowl worthy teams that are going to have to duke it out in the postseason. The East is home to the Eagles and the Commanders who are no doubt going to make the playoffs and be contendants for the NFC championship. The NFC West is a four way battle for a playoff spot with the San Francisco 49ers and Cardinals favored by many. In the NFC North, the Detroit Lions are looking to make a name for themselves after years of being the worst team in the league. The Vikings and the Green Bay Packers are grappling for a spot in the playoffs with the Vikings being favored. And lastly in the NFC South, the Atlanta Falcons are dominating, currently sitting at the top of the division with the Buccaneers close behind them.
Our predictions for the playoffs are the Buffalo Bills, the Kansas City Chiefs, the Los Angeles Chargers, the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Baltimore Ravens, the Cincinnati Bengals, The Philadelphia Eagles, the Washington Commanders, the Arizona Cardinals, the Detroit Lions, the Vikings, The Green Bay Packers, and the Atlanta Falcons.
