Everyone in The Forum will deeply miss Emerson Green—all six foot, four inches of him—as he passes on. While he won’t be remembered as a particularly helpful production editor, his moderate contributions will be forever remembered for their punchy captions and high quality quotations.
Emerson’s junior year mugshot is the first thing one will find upon Googling him, and the first thing we will remember during our grievances. “We got jump scared every time someone opened the computer,” says Editor-in-Chief Gabe Elkinson ’25.
Joining The Forum as a sophomore, Emerson had plenty of dear friends in the program who think fondly of their time together. He began his bulk during senior year, and he often brought upwards of three meals to class each day before going off campus for lunch. “His ability to multitask while teaching layout and eating food was really admirable during his time in The Forum,” reflects Frank Yeboah ’26.
Emerson showed true passion for the art of reporting, having written 20+ articles over the past three years. However, his biggest strength had to be his ability to grow voluminous facial hair, which is envied by all, especially Forum mega-fan Henry Cayce ’25.
