The Paideia soccer program has high hopes for a state title this year considering their successful state tournament run in the 2024 season. With the high school soccer season coming to a close, it is safe to say that Paideia’s soccer teams are doing great.
The Paideia girls soccer team is looking to continue their winning season. The team has had a successful season so far, sitting at a 7-3 record. When asked about key factors in their team’s success, Clara Bryson ’28 and Charlotte Topol ’28 said the reason was undoubtedly team chemistry. They describe the team as very close-knit and welcoming, with amazing coaches and a strong community.
Meanwhile, the Paideia boys team is currently sitting at a 6-5 overall record and they are 3-1 in region play. They are 2-0 while playing at home and 4-5 while playing away. Senior midfielder, captain Noah Armour, is averaging 0.8 goals and 0.5 assists per match. When asked about the team’s success, Oscar Emery ’28 said: “Our team’s success stems from a competitive atmosphere and a goal to show out at every game.”
When asked about the Paideia soccer community he said: “The Paideia soccer community is all about having fun and winning. The coaches strive to make every practice and game a fun experience with the goal of getting better each time.”
Paideia’s soccer soccer community is a very welcoming, comforting, and successful atmosphere that all players love to be in. Both the boys and girls teams have had an awesome season thus far.
